START WITH A CONVERSATION

Tell us what would make caregiving more manageable.

Every family’s situation is different. Tell us about the person needing support, the routines that matter and the kind of help you are looking for. We can answer your questions and decide together whether Family Checks may be a suitable fit.

FREE MEET-AND-GREET

Meet us before making a decision.

There is no charge and no obligation for the initial meet-and-greet. We can meet at a mutually agreed location where your family feels comfortable. Often, the home where support may be provided is especially helpful because you can show us familiar routines, preferences, mobility needs and how your family would like things done. You may meet with us privately or include your loved one and other appropriate family members.

Choose a comfortable setting

The meet-and-greet can take place in the person’s home or another mutually comfortable location. Meeting at home can make it easier to explain routines and show us how your family prefers support to be provided.

Ask questions openly

Learn who we are, discuss what support may be needed and tell us how your family prefers things to be done.

Decide afterward

A meet-and-greet does not create any obligation to book care. Take the time needed to decide whether Family Checks feels right.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT

What happens after you contact us?

We listen

We learn generally what your family needs, what schedules are involved and what questions you would like answered.

We arrange a conversation

When appropriate, we arrange a free, no-obligation meet-and-greet at the home where support may be provided or another mutually agreed location where your family feels comfortable.

You decide

After meeting us and asking your questions, you decide whether you would like to discuss arranging support.

URGENT REQUESTS

Need to ask about short-notice support?

Families are welcome to contact Family Checks when a regular caregiver becomes unavailable or an unexpected situation occurs. We cannot guarantee that every short-notice request can be filled, but having already completed a meet-and-greet and shared important care information may make arranging suitable help easier when availability exists.

You deserve to know who may be caring for your loved one.

Start with a conversation. Meet us, ask questions and tell us what would help your family—without any obligation to book care afterward.

Family Checks provides non-medical caregiving support. Services depend on individual needs, caregiver availability and whether the requested care can be provided safely.
